 You simply contact our office by phone, or send us your preferred contact details via this website.
We will then contact you within 48 hours to arrange a time for you to call in to our office for an informal meeting and chat. This allows us to meet you personally and refine our level of service to you. It’s for this reason that we cannot offer the option of online registration. At our meeting, we will complete a confidential Questionnaire with you. We then include your details in our customised information program which allows us to select and arrange singles dinners for you according to your age group, interests, background and any specific preferences that are very important to you. Our meeting would normally take 30 minutes at our office on a week-day time convenient for you.
Your personal details you provide us are maintained in the strictest confidence and we do not provide your personal details to any other parties unless you authorise us to do so.
 We have carefully selected a range of quality restaurants to host our singles dinners with cuisines matched to your preferences. The restaurants are conveniently located in inner-city suburbs. The menus are typically mid-range in price. Each participant is given their own separate bill at the end of the evening, so there need not be any concerns about budgets or dividing the bill. You will also be offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on your arrival. For your peace of mind, the restaurant staff will not treat your group as a ‘singles’ dinner group as this can be intimidating for some participants, particularly when it’s made obvious to other restaurant patrons. What A Dish operates independently from our selected restaurants and we do not have any commercial arrangements with them.
 When we have arranged a group of 6 compatible participants, including yourself, we will contact you via both email and SMS with details of the singles dinner we have organised for you. Typically, this would be 5-10 working days before the reservation date, so you can plan well-ahead. The invitation is DEFINITE and is not offered on a "first-in-best-dressed" basis.
As we need to finalise our arrangements as soon as possible, we ask for a response from you within 24 hours of your receipt of the invitation. If we don't receive a response, we will assume that you are unavailable to attend, so please ensure you get back to us as quickly as possible.
 The singles dinners are offered from Tuesday through to Saturday on evenings that are convenient for you.
 You can attend as many singles dinners as you wish. We can discuss your preferences when we meet with you. Naturally, for us to provide a quality service, we try to ensure compatibility wherever possible, so the number of singles dinners we offer you would also depend on the suitability of the participants. As mentioned previously, What A Dish does not charge any membership, upfront or joining fees. You simply pay a Booking Fee for each singles dinner you accept and agree to attend, and you pay the restaurant for whatever you order on the evening. We also charge a small once-only Administration Fee and this is added on to your first dinner’s Booking Fee. The Booking Fee is debited from your nominated credit card 72 hours before your dinner reservation. As it can be very difficult for us to arrange for someone to replace you at late notice, the Booking Fee is not refundable or transferable if you cancel within 72 hours before the reservation time.
 Because we try to ensure compatibility amongst the participants, we are confident that you will “click” with one or more people. If you are interested in making further contact with one or more participants, just notify us by phone or email us on the next business day and we will on-forward your details to them. As you can appreciate, we cannot provide a participant’s contact details unless we have their authority to do so. Even if you find that you didn’t click with anyone in particular, we still recommend and encourage you to leave your contact details for other participants. If nothing else, you can establish some great friendships and you never know what might transpire over time. You're also likely to meet their friends!
 Yes, just send us an email advising us of your circumstances. You don’t pay another Administration Fee if you recommence your singles dinners.
 The general guideline is "stylish end of Smart Casual". Or just dress to impress!
 The dinners are booked for 7.30pm unless otherwise advised.
 We recommend that you phone the restaurant on the day of the dinner to advise them of any special dietary requirements. Most of the restaurants chosen by What A Dish will oblige and will accommodate requests wherever possible.
Our aim is to ensure that your singles dinner evening is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
Okay, it all sounds great, but WHAT DOES IT COST?
The great news is that we don't charge any consultation, upfront or ongoing fees. Nor do we charge a huge upfront membership fee while you wait for your first dinner invitation!
We believe "user-pays" is a much fairer system and you stay in control over how often you want to accept an invitation and attend a dinner.
Basically, there is no cost to join What A Dish and you don't pay anything until you accept and attend your first dinner.
Then our fees are:

A Booking Fee for every dinner invitation that you accept and attend: $35(+GST).

A once-only Administration Fee which helps cover the cost of our database maintenance. It is not paid upfront. It is added on to your first Booking Fee when you accept and attend your first dinner: $95(+GST).
